I know money would motivate me! If my parents gave me 25$ for every A I got I truly believe I would get straight A's every time.

I think this experiment would be a good thing because if you tell a child that for every good grade you will give them some money then they will do better in school and decide to keep their grades up.

IF I think they should get paid because they will try to do good in school and also get a reward for it.

I think it would be a good idea for kids to get money for good grades but, it would also be giving kids the wrong idea and may get out of control. There are better ways for kids getting rewarded -L.R.

I think that kids should get money for their good grades because some kids want money, but are not old enough to get a job. Parents say that school is our job, why not get paid for it like parents get paid for theirs D.W

SS-I think it’s a good idea to give kids money for their grades because every kid would try, and we wouldn’t have to deal with kids disrupting class as much. They would also be more interested in getting good grades. I also think it’s kind of sad that you have to give kids money to try in school though. They should try no matter what and the ones who do try are the ones who should be rewarded.

I think that getting students to work hard in school with money isn’t such a bad idea. As a teenager, money is hard to get, and so is a job. If you have a source of money coming in other than allowance, that would be amazing.
I don’t think that getting rewarded for good grades constitutes death threats. I just see it as motivation. Some students just need some extra incentive to excel in school. I also don’t think that the parents of these children should be offended. If they so choose, they could disallow their children from keeping the money. Though, I think that kids nowadays could use the money for going out with friends and such, and shouldn’t have to ask their parents for money constantly.
A counter-argument can be made that there are other better types of incentive to motivate children to study hard, like prizes, free class periods, or other types of things, and that money isn’t a healthy prize for kids because some parents don’t want their kids to have their own money, and may want to see what their kids buy. I think that there are better motivators out there other than money, but money is an excellent motivator, because you can get whatever you want with it. Parents could even hold on to the money if they want, so they can know for sure what their child is getting with their money.

I think that getting cash for good grades is a good idea. If I get money for good grades I would work hard try to get money and my 1st choice

I think this idea will be great because if kids get rewarded with money, because of their good grades, they will try to do better in their work at school, because the kids want to get more cash. J.G 1/2

I would be more motivated to get good grades with a reward at the end of the year.
